The teachers will be introduced to integrating the software programs into their curriculum and will be involved in a workshop on pedagogical and technological use of smartboards. The students will learn to code, as well as how to create and edit audio, and digital art for the games and stories they learn to code in Scratch. Students will be exposed to computer navigation and search skills, and how to stay safe online through curriculum focusing on cybersecurity. As well, the students will be introduced to a number of digital tools including coding micro bits, field recorders, and software for creating and editing digital art and sound such as creating 2D pixel art with Graphics Gale, Inkscape and Krita, 3D modelling with Magica Voxels, and sound editing with Audacity.
